Education Centre Large Dining Room

A panoramic view of our large Education Centre Dining Room also known as the Dales Dining Room.  This room has spectacular views of Derwent Water and can dine up to 30 people.

 

Education Centre Small Dining Room

A panoramic view of our small Education Centre Dining Doom also know as the Fells Dining room, which is next to the Education Centre Large Dining Room.  This room also has spectacular views of Derwent Water and can dine up to 20 people.

 

Education Centre Common Room

A panoramic view of our Education Centre Common Room.  This is a great place for our guests to meet throughout their stay.  It can seat up to 72 people in theatre style and can be converted into a dining room for up to 40 people.  The room includes a projector, screen, speakers and DVD player and leads directly out on to our lawn.

 

Education Centre Games Room

A panoramic view of our Education Centre Games Room.  This is a large social space for groups and includes a football table, snooker table and sofas. This room also features a stone fireplace with the original Slack family coat of arms.

 

Lawn

A panoramic view of our world class location.  Take a look at the outside of our historic building and the breath-taking views of Derwent water and the Borrowdale Valley.

 

Reception and Training Centre Entrance

A panoramic view of our Reception and Training Centre Entrance.  In the distance you can see our compass tree, a poplar meeting point for groups, and in the foreground, the rhododendrons in full bloom.

 

Training Centre Lounge

A panoramic view of our Training Centre Lounge.  This room has a TV and bar; it can dine up to 25 people and is a comfortable space in which to relax.  The patio doors open out onto our stunning lawn with fantastic views over Derwent Water.

 

Training Centre Conference Room View 1

A panoramic view of our Training Centre Conference room set up in Boardroom style.  This view is with our bi-folding doors open so that the conference room is in full use.  There is direct access to our stunning lawn from this room.  The room has a projector, screen and audio system. Branded items are available to buy for your conference or training event.

 

Training Centre Conference Room View 2

A panoramic view of our Training Centre Conference room set up in Boardroom style.  This view is with our bi-folding doors closed to create a large space for delivering training and a break out room for workshops.  Up to 20 people can be seated in this layout.  There is direct access to our stunning lawn from this room.  The room has a projector, screen and audio system.  Branded items are available to buy for your conference or training event.

Training Centre Bedroom 5

A panoramic view of one of our comfortable Training Centre en-suite rooms.  The bed in this room can be made into a double or twin.  All of our Training Centre rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, TVs, hairdryers and towels.

 

Education Centre Dorm Blencathra

A panoramic view of one of  our Education Centre en-suite rooms.  This room sleeps up to 8 people and has 2 pod style bathrooms.
